About the job

As a Business Analyst at Energy21, you will play a critical role in extracting insights from complex energy datasets and providing valuable information to support business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to analyse data and identify trends. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical skills, work with cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to shaping the future of the energy industry.

Your profile:

• Minimal Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experienced in working in multidisciplinary teams and projects in complex client environments, preferable in the energy sector;
•  3 years + of relevant experience
• Experience related to balancing, portfolio management or trading in the energy sector is a plus;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to identify business needs into operational business processes;
• Profound interest in IT and related processes;
• Preference to work with proven methods and best practices;
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization;
• Currently living in the Netherlands or Lisbon, Portugal;
  
• Excellent skills to communicate effectively in Dutch and English.

What will you do:

• Interact with stakeholders and develop a functional requirements specification;
• Analyse and map all relevant business processes and IT infrastructure;
• Research on rules that might impact solution delivery, such as compliance, data governance, or organisational mandate;
• Reccomend solutions that help to deliver organisational goals;
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of solutions;
• Oversee QA and deployment;
• Report to stakeholders and senior IT leaders throughout the project lifecycle.
