About the job

This is a brand new role at Energy21. We are growing rapidly across Europe and we are looking for a Sales Director Europe to grow our revenue by bringing new clients on board but also managing, coaching and leading the commercial team of +5 people. In this role you are end responsible for all commercial & marketing activities at Energy21.

This is a key role for the growth of the company, you will report direct to the CEO and work closely with the CTO who leads the product development and the COO who manages all existing clients/partners.

The role is based in Utrecht and we are open to relocate you if needed.

Challenge

  • Expanding the SaaS Product turnover and professional implementation services in Benelux, DACH and UK regions with a 20% growth per annum;
  • Optimize the marketing driven sales-cycle and build the sales team throughout NL/DACH/UK/EU region, both organically and for possible acquisitions;
  • Evangelize Energy21’s vision and become the European Market Leader;

Your profile:

  • You can own, drive and convert the sales funnel and lead the marketing and sales team;
  • You can define a winning sales strategy for tenders, must-have-clients and prospects;
  • You know how to fuel growth by pitching products both strategically and operationally via a multi-level approach in the Benelux, DACH and the UK regions;
  • You are an expert in client engagement and know how to optimize our customer journey and effectively articulate how SaaS products contributes to our customers success.
  • You are experienced in working in multidisciplinary teams and projects in complex client environments, preferable in the energy and/or business2 business IT-sector.
  • You have successfully closed deals at enterprise levels for SaaS products and consultancy.
  • You have a relevant degree and are fluent in English + German or Dutch.
