About the role

The Energy21 systems team is responsible for managing smoothly running client environments, developing and deploying changes and managing client databases. We run mostly on SQL, but few client environments use Oracle. Day-to-day responsibilities of this role are maintaining, securing, and operating databases and ensuring that data is correctly stored and retrieved. Also, you will own our data management policies, work on structure and standardization and knowledge management.

About you

We are a small team so ideally would like to add someone with a proactive, hands-on attitude. Furthermore, you are a motivated self-starter with the ability to work cross functionally, and constantly thinking of ways to improve the work. Moreover, you have:

• 4+ yrs experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Azure SQL

• Working knowledge of: High Availability solutions, Disaster recovery and Performance tuning

• Strong communication skills
